Born January 12, 1905 in Oklahoma, she moved to Pecos from Miles Texas in 1956. The city of Pecos completed land deals for 14 lots to support 160 low rent units and 30 elderly units funded by a federal appropriation. Construction may begin around January 1, 1972, costing about 1.7 million with land purchases near 85 thousand.
