Swine flu program stays on schedule for Texas
Dr Frances L Duff director of Health Resources says the swine flu immunization drive remains on schedule. A bivalent vaccine for elderly and chronically ill should be ready by late August with a monovalent vaccine for the general public arriving in September. Local departments will run widespread clinics and recruit volunteers through the First Lady's Volunteer Program to staff clinics and spread word.
