Angora goat business revival eyed at 03 Ranch Jeff Davis County
In Jeff Davis County the McElroy brothers at 03 Ranch revitalize Angora goat operations begun in the 1930s. They deploy electric fencing, short grazing rotations, and selective breeding with Texas A&M Extension Service support to boost nannies and mohair, aiming for more kids and stronger fleeces amid past droughts and predator pressures.
