Youth Arrested in Pecos For Forgery and Burglary
19 year old Pecos resident Albert Anaya Mendoza is jailed in Reeves County for burglary and forgery after attempting to cash a $100 trucking company check at a Pecos bank. The check was forged from W. E. Hamilton Trucking Co. of Pecos. Two stolen checks remain unrecovered. Mendoza, a former employee, was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Phyllis Sawyer with bond set at $5,000 on each charge. He remains in RCCF awaiting further proceedings.
