Gas discovery assured in Pecos County Sheffield field

Gas flow at Jake L. Harmon No. 4-C Noelke reached 1.9 million cubic feet daily plus condensate and water in nine hours through a 26 64 inch choke. Site is 1,926 feet from the north line and 1,650 feet from the east line of section 2, block 193, TMRR survey, one mile east of Sheffield. Marathon Oil originally drilled No. 1 Frie da C. Noelke. abandoned in 1965 at 10,262 feet.
