Two Pecos Women Die in Train Car Crash at Alberta Crossing
Two Pecos women, Lee Cochran and Faye Jordan Ellis, were killed Saturday night when their car collided with a Missouri Pacific Freight Train at the Alberta Street crossing. Investigating officer Patrolman Robert Turner noted the car spun, landed on tracks, and was struck again as the train headed east. Funeral arrangements are pending at Pecos Funeral Home.
