J Lynn Futch state director for Farmers Home Administration based in Temple will visit the Pecos area on Wednesday and Thursday. He will conduct a general inspection tour of Trans Pecos spanning Reeves Loving Ward and Winkler Counties to assess the rural development program. American man's death in Honduran land dispute
David E. Hervey, 72, a Carmel, Indiana native and U.S. citizen, was killed near San Pedro Sula, Honduras, by machete blows as he and partner Herbert Curtas, 49 of Miami, sought to develop a $1 million lumber yard on 35 acres of leased land.
