Mexican star to aid Presidio school fundraiser
Lucha Villa the top Mexican movie star and singer will perform in Ojinaga across the Rio Grande from Presidio on August 28 to raise about 15 000 for the Presidio Independent School District. Citizens formed the Presidio School Building Committee to fund four new classrooms and repairs after a bond election failed. The committee will cover costs though most labor is donated and after completion the school will furnish the rooms.
