Old Santa Fe depot in Pecos closes for good
The Santa Fe depot in Pecos was ordered closed by the Texas Railroad Commission and dismantled after being unprofitable and underused. Built around 1890, the original building will be sold with the buyer required to remove it from railroad property, sparking concern among residents about preserving the historic structure.
