School Awards Highlight Track and Baseball Honors
The club honors include Most Improved for John Mulkey and a surge in boys track participation from nine to 26. Letters went to Jimmy Whittle and many others. Biden set school records in the mile 4 40 and two mile 10 11.9. Max Kemper set a freshman 880 record 2 18.5. The mile relay Carr Insche Jones Loges 3 35.4. Girls track named Franki Medlock MVP and Karen Whittle Most Improved while Amy Jones earned Most Points. Gayle Leeds high hurdles 16.3 and high jump marks by Eli Balstad and Debbie Gibson. Leslie Jones 6 12.3 mile. JV baseball awards include Russ LaForge Outstanding and Danny Fisher Most Improved with numerous juniors earning certificates.
