Payson town limits may set minimum mobile home standards after Master Plan Committee recommended inspections to meet building and fire codes. Proposals include 600 square feet living space, under three years old, concrete pads eight feet apart, two feet height, full four side skirting within 90 days, no aluminum wiring, and state approved smoke alarms near bedrooms.
The Town of Payson advances a comprehensive master plan for zoning. CAAG planner Earl Phillips will lead drafting with the Master Plan Committee. Estimated cost is 3200 dollars and completion may take up to a year depending on data and inputs.
