Payson inaugurates second town council and new leadership
Payson swore in its new town council Monday with Willard Taylor named mayor and Dave Marko as vice mayor. The ceremony included Ellen Sutton, Taylor, Marko, D. J. Smock, Bud Haack and Jack Menschein, while Don Taylor was absent on vacation. Firefighter Bill Dawes rescued a calico cat 20 feet up a tree after four days, but the cat scratched him in the process.
