Payson Plans Five Birthday Celebrations Tomorrow
The Nation’s 199th birthday will be celebrated in five Payson area locations tomorrow. Events include the Old Payson Merchants Association Street Dance on Main Street from 7 30 to 11 30 p m with the Zane Grey Twirlers and Ox Bow Inn Band providing music to benefit the Payson Humane Society. An old fashioned Chautauqua in Pine Strawberry starts at noon with food and games while a horseshoe tournament kicks off at 11 a.m. Fireworks and barbecue in Gisela run 2 p.m. to about 6 p.m. A Payson Elks Lodge celebration and a Payson Ward of the LDS Church event are also planned.
