Otis Harrell a 75 year old Phoenix man was identified after deputies and police searched a Payson home months after his death. Three suspects arrested for concealing the body and five others sought. Autopsy inconclusive due to advanced decomposition. no foul play suspected.

Pony Express Bicentennial Ride Arrives Payson Tuesday
Hashknife Pony Express marks the Bicentennial with a 130 mile longer ride from Holbrook to Scottsdale via Show Low Winslow and Payson. A special Bicentennial postmark and one time use stamps will be issued, with 2000 medallions and 4000 lapel pins distributed. Letters mailed at the Payson Post Office by 4 p.m. Tuesday will ride through to Scottsdale, arriving in Payson around 4 p.m. and departing for Scottsdale Wednesday morning.
