Phoenix firm lands county contract for Payson building addition
Haver Construction of Phoenix won a 194 500 contract from the county board for a 3 000 square foot addition to the Payson county building at 101 W. Main. Construction starts within 10 days after snow melts and creates about 32 temporary jobs. The project, funded 96 percent by a Four Corners Regional Commission grant plus Law Enforcement Assistance Administration contributions, will house sheriff offices a new court room law library judge’s chambers and county attorney’s office with completion expected in four to five months in June. A five member Payson committee will coordinate dedication and work with the contractor and county during construction.
