Slaughter Sues Murphy Over Public Accusations

Town Attorney Alan Slaughter files a civil suit against Ira A. Murphy school board member elect for liable and interference with contractual relations seeking $30,000 in damages. The dispute stems from a November 25 meeting shouting match and Murphy's attack on local officials over an assault case. Jerry McMahan had a simple battery charge, fined $110 after failing to appear.

Storm fizzles as sun returns to Central Arizona
