Christmas Eve at Connollys Arena and Community Tales
The note across many households recounts Christmas gatherings and travel by families including the Connolly, Relstab, Mullins, Ross, and Peace clans. Highlights include Pat Spencer winning the Mogollon Montoneros all around buckle, a pool tournament at the Gisela Store won by Rick Wood, birthday and anniversary celebrations, a seven mile off Cuba cruise, and Edible memories from Pat Tatum’s group. A washer and dryer gift from Santa is noted, with local choir and potluck adjustments.

Young Bills to be Reduced After Telephone Project
Mountain Bell will cut Young area toll guarantees from 15 to 5.60 for residential customers and 9.20 for business amid a two phase shift. The new system frees direct dialing on four party lines with eventual switch to single to four party lines, forecast to triple local customers in 1977 at a cost exceeding 300000 dollars.
