Belk Wins Payson Town Council Seat In Appointment
Robert Belk became Payson's 17th council member after appointment to fill the vacancy left by Jack Monschein. Belk, Aztec Butane manager and fire captain, faced questions over a potential conflict due to a minor town stipend. He was selected over W R Mac McCreary, the runner up in May, amid debate on meeting schedule changes and citizen participation.
