Weiser collected 11 hits as Brockman allowed Payette the same. The crowd praised the clean Sunday game though practice gaps hurt Payette readiness. another win was anticipated for Sunday.

Jefferis Enforces Liquor Law On Westbound Train
Sheriff Jefferis boarded Idaho’s No 19 at Payette to confront a well dressed man in a suit case arrested in the cars. A struggle followed before the train reached Wood’s Spur. The suspect and 24 bottles of whiskey were brought to Payette for arraignment, with a $600 bond posted by his sister. Trial set for June 10. Ratelle Seawell returned home to Boise after visiting her brother Leater Beawell for a week.

Frank Erveington proprietor of the Payette Hide and Junk House was arrested Saturday evening by Sheriff Jefferis and Night Marshal Fenske who found two pint hotties for whiskey in his possession. He was arraigned before Judge Luther and waived a preliminary examination. Bond fixed at 500 dollars. unable to post bond he was jailed for trial in district court. Gleim Genoway Nuptials May 27 at Mrs Genaway home joined May Gleim to Howard Giselm in a simple ring ceremony officiated by Rev Adams. The bride wore Charmeuse with Georgette tunic, carried roses and syringa. Guests included family and friends, 40 total. After, a three course lunch served by Misses Dixon, Crutt, and Genoway. Gifts numerous. out-of-town guests from Weiser, Speed Kansas, Nyssa, Glenns Ferry. The bride, a Payette High School graduate, taught near Weiser. groom a substantial farmer. The couple left for a new home near Weiser. Best wishes for long, happy life.
