Petition for Highway District Formed in Can County
A Commercial Club committee filed maps plans and a petition with county commissioners to form a highway improvement district in Can County under the new law. The proposed district bounds Washington county line west by Snake and Payette rivers south by the Payette river to the east near Big Willow mouth includes ranges 4 and 5 west and parts of Big Willow and Little Willow. The map by Engineer Wm Noot is available at the Enterprise printing office for public consultation. The effort aims to boost roads with regional support and elect district officers within months. Also notes school recitals on May 17 18 at Emma Theatre and armory drill Tuesdays until Memorial Day.
