Child Follows Mother to the Great Beyond
Eleven month old Bobbie Culbertson died in Boise after convulsions while never well since birth. He was brought to Payette for a funeral at Lauer's Undertaking Parlors conducted by Rev E K Wallis. Interment followed beside his mother who died a week earlier in Riverside Cemetery.

George Burwell Home From Overseas
George Burwell returned to Payette Sunday evening from overseas. He served in the famed 91st Division and took part in hard fighting, including times in the trenches. He described scenes of the battles, noting many comrades were killed or wounded.
