A Surprise Party Honors Mrs Claud Hard

The Philathea Class of the Baptist Sunday School surprised Mrs Claud Hard on her birthday with an unannounced visit and a pleasant evening. Light refreshments were served as they expressed appreciation for her work as a teacher. Ralph Spaulding and wife of Weiser visited his parents and noted his purchase of a fine residence there. Estate items from Lewis and Beardsley deceased will be sold May 11 at 2 p m including two small Overland cars and household goods now for public bid.

Payette County drafts two men for Camp Lewis move

Payette County is to supply men for the draft. Charles Ralph Hardin of Prestland and Benjamin Milton Tomlin of Payette were selected. They will report on May tenth and depart for Camp Lewis shortly thereafter. The Methodist Church notes a sermon on The Second Mile for next Sunday morning. Sunday School starts at 10 o percent track. No evening services to allow attendance at the Barraclaureate service at the Christian Church. He Wallis, Pastor.

Golden Kale Stores Banquet In Southern Idabu District

A large gathering of nine Golden Kale Stores managers pros proprietors and clerks met Tuesday evening at the Jacoteen building in southern Idabu Buki Damqudt for a patriotic business session. Speakers included W E Graham Boise store manager detailing progress and evening plans. Payette student choir provided songs and a dress for plans. About 45 attendees left for their hotels around 1130 p m.
