Sanitary Paint and Cleaning of Payette School Seats

The Payette Schools are undergoing a four step cleanup. A complete coat of paint was applied inside and out last week. Central School seats are removed, dipped in a boiling solution called Campire made by National Wood Renovating of Kansas City, scrubbed, rinsed, and dried. After refitting, floors will be varnished. The process removes chewing gum and other sanitary waste, leaving seats looking nearly new.

Underground Storage Plans For Local Apple Growers

Death of Edgar Forbes in Idaho in 1923

Edgar Arthur Forbes, born February 48 1878 in Saunders County Nebraska, died July 200 1923 in Payette Idaho after eight months ill health. He left four brothers four sisters and many friends. A charter member of Payette Lodge No 51 Knights of Pythias and Fleur de Lis Temple No 5 Pythian Sisters, he moved to Payette in 1902 with his parents. Funeral services were held at the Church of God with Knights of Pythias and Pythian Sisters conducting burial. He was known as Ed to friends and associates and answered the call of Pythian duty.
