Roy Prindle of the famed first Gass regiment has joined the United States forces after a year of hard fighting. The unit suffered heavy losses including 80 Crox Guerre wearers and 20 service medal recipients. The Gass regiment earned a hard front reputation, leading offensives and facing great danger.
