Bridges Carry by Large Majorities in Canyon County Vote

The people of Canyon County approved building three bridges across the Payette River near Letha New Plymouth and Fruitland by wide margins. Voters in Payette with Commercial Club support polled strongly, producing totals over a thousand in favor. results from several precincts show New Plymouth Fruitland Letha and Payette all favoring the bridge projects with broad county backing.

Inspector vows strict action over infected fruit sale

Inspector Newcomb warns he will enforce the law against selling worm eaten and infected fruit at the depot to train passengers. City Council weighs bridge cost and bond plan
