The Pavo Primitive Baptist Church will hold its annual protracted meeting starting Friday and running into next week. Services are at 11:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Eld. R. H. Jennings of Dawson and Ela. W. C. Kicklighter of Ocilla will lead preaching and the public is invited.
About thirty five Pavo residents joined a beach picnic at Carrabelle Beach last Friday enjoying swimming dancing and a fish dinner. A return stop at Wakulla Springs included an inspection of the spot. The group departed Pavo at sunrise and returned late that night, reporting a most enjoyable day.
