Federal aid bills seek Route 143 extension to Patoka
Senator Everett M. Dickson and Congressman George Shipley push S 2151 and H R 8467 to fund FA 149. The plan covers a highway bridge and approaches across the Carlyle Reservoir between Tamalco and Patoka, Illinois, offset by federal costs due to the dam. Abandonment of the Keyesport Boulder Road may accelerate hearings and construction.
