Patoka Grade School Commencement Exercises Highlight Week
The Patoka grade school held a Wednesday evening commencement in the gymnasium with pink and white decorations and spring flowers. Seven graduates presented the program as the school orchestra performed, Rev. F. M. McKinney delivered the keynote on Go Forward, and honors were awarded to Anna Wasem and Edgar Rogier for citizenship. Diplomas were presented by M. Walker. Local residents, visitors from Sullivan Illinois, and relatives joined the event, followed by a study of the year’s achievements and community remarks.
