Substance as Lesson-Sermon Theme Across Churches
The March 12 Lesson-Sermon in Christian Science churches centers on Substance with the Golden Text urging devotion to God and mercy. Biblical citations include Romans 1:20 on divine power revealed in creation, and a passage from Mary Baker Eddy’s text noting that material “substance” is illusory until spiritual reality is seen.
