Beloved Illinois Christie Dies at 84 in Vernon
Illinois Adamson Christie, born June 23 1848 near Vernon Illinois, died March 8 1933 at her home aged 84 8 15. She was a charter member of Bear Creek Baptist Church and survived by two sons three daughters twelve grandchildren five great grandchildren two half brothers one half sister and many friends. Funeral at Bear Creek Baptist Church with Interment at Thorpe cemetery.

Edward C. Bender born March 9 1856 in La Fayette Indiana died March 6 1933. He married Rachel Josephine Davis October 11 1885 at Gilman and had seven children. He lived in Onargo, moved to Chicago in 1890, widow in 1902, moved to this community in 1921 and died here. Funeral held Thursday conducted by Rev J M Smith and body interred in Onargo.
