A banquet at 6 pm was followed by recreation and music organized by Recreation Director Mr Drake.

A Chevrolet coupe and I. C. train No. 4 collided at 13th Street in Centralia at 4 15 am Tuesday, killing six locals including Sam Maynor Lena Gaetti Harry George and three women Beulah Cavannah Beatrice Dallas and Blanch Rollinson. One passenger died at the scene others died at the hospital. The crash ends an all night party. circumstances may remain unknown. All victims were married.
