Beauty Contest Judging Generous in Rewards
A San Gabriel Valley writer served as judge at a beauty pageant for the California Credit Union League San Gabriel Valley chapter. Beth Stewart of San Gabriel was chosen Miss Credit Union, after a steak dinner and a crowd of credit union representatives watched her compete. Stewart, 20, a San Gabriel High School graduate, enjoys water sports and Saint Bernard companionship. Next she will compete in Fresno for Miss California Credit Union among 37 contestants.
