Caltech Fund Push Tops 25 Percent of Goal

Caltech reports 25 percent of an $85.4 million campaign goal raised as alumni heard from President Lee A. DuBridge. A $2.8 million gift from Mrs. Donald E. Baxter boosts pledges to over $21 million to fund a new hall of humanities and social sciences and related facilities. Governor Reagan announced Baxter gift at a Los Angeles kickoff dinner. The drive aims $20 million endowment, $30 million for buildings, $15 million for operating costs. About 400 alumni and guests attended the Pasadena banquet and reception.

Weekday express RTD bus to run Los Angeles Pasadena
