Dr. W Shelburne Brown recalls Pasadena College origin from Nazarene era in 1908 on a former ranch. The college plans a 10 year 20 million expansion by 1980 with a new 1 million library and more land purchases to support growth including a future track and football field. The old ranch house will become a museum as the campus enlarges from 30 to about 47 acres.

Airman Jeffrey W. Aagaard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth M. Aagaard of Alladena, has graduated from the DoD Information School basic course at Fort Benjamin Harrison Indiana. He completed training in information and communications techniques to prepare for assignments at all USAF levels. Pasadena High School Band Wins Chaffey Tournament Awards

Pasadena High School bands claimed top prizes at the Chaffey Tournament of Bands in Ontario. The marching unit won the six foot sweepstakes trophy and marching trophy, performed a halftime show Stereo in Motion, and received a cash prize to support a Cotton Bowl trip. The girls drill team also earned the sweepstakes trophy as part of the event.
