A 12-year-old boy Stephen BK Stuart was left alone for a month while his parents were hospitalized. Police found $3,000 cash scattered in the dirty home, including a $1,000 bill. Juvenile officers took the boy into care as detectives planned a full investigation.
Reports reach Cairo saying a British patrol was wiped out and about 30 British led native troops were killed in clashes with Arab tribesmen. Battles occurred at two points south of Yemen and in Oman, according to Arab League transmissions.
