Traweek Junior High School in West Covina reports 36 students and teachers filmed a TV program titled Success Today about pollution. The KNXT Channel 7 feature, part of Steps to Learning, will air Someday at 10 am. Written produced and directed by Mrs Myra Smith with assistance from Mrs Kathleen Bunnin and Bill Boyd, the presentation spotlights the Pollution Family and famous family success. A 10 year old pupil was brought to a hospital after an overdose of barbiturate pills while en route to Pasadena school. The boy was reportedly agitated and incoherent, with police and doctors describing him as markedly sedated and unsteady. Authorities questioned his mother about the source of the pills.
Pasadena's Department of Recreation announces open registration for summer institutional swimming classes. Registration runs today and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Recreation Department office.
