The Pas Receives Increased Grants in Lieu of Taxes
A letter from Hon Bob Smellie Provincial Minister of Municipal Affairs informs The Pas that under the provinces new grants in lieu of taxes program the town will receive 20233 next year covering provincial government property in The Pas an increase of about 18500 Mayor Trager notes the rise equals roughly three mils and hopes the extra goes to taxpayers.
