Snakes Crossing River on Saskatchewan Encounter
A party of three on the Saskatchewan River last Saturday reported hundreds of garter snakes moving northward for about ten miles. Snakes measured 20 to 30 inches. Rahis Island was the first sighting point as the procession grew heavier downstream.
