Lions Club Events Highlight November Activities in The Pas
Mrs Andrey Batchelor and her son Terry visited Winnipeg with Mr and Mrs Barry Batchelor attending ceremonies for Mayor Harry Trager Golden Boy Award. The Lions held their November 2 dinner at Gateway Hotel with 15 members. Jennie King won the monthly draw and Bet remains the October Dress of the Month winner. The club plans the Trappers Festival Draw and December Charter Night Banquet. Christmas Party set for December 7 at Lion Regs home. Pack boxes of Christmas Dainties December 10 at Pat Lab. Committee chairs named for convention slated October 1 1966. June rummage sale date set for June 20. Halloween baskets packed for Senior Citizens at Eventide Home. Kinette meeting November 18 to attend. Visitors from Minnesota arrived in The Pas staying with local hosts.

The Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday November 15. Election of officers will take place at this important session.
