Dispute delays Mary Duncan School reconstruction bid
Me and Mary Duncan to WW W construction for all costs secured. The watchman was placed on the site after WW Construction Ltd, led by P H Warken tin, threatened to withdraw caretakers if possession wasn’t granted by noon June 1. D'Arcy Bancroft, the school division solicitor, said a 24 hour watch was set and nothing on site would be removed until ownership is established. The letter cites changes to meet the National Building Code with three items disputed. The Division and Public Schools Finance Board will decide next steps to complete the project.
