Town Council Names Four Streets for 1977 Paving Program
The council resolved to pave Hogan Avenue First Street Second Street and Bell Avenue this summer with total cost 343695.64 and 205000 funded including a 150000 grant promise from Premier Schreyer and 55000 reserves. They plan to raise 38695 with options including using town forces. ten streets are eligible for 50 50 grants.

Drug charge nets fine
Judge Wm. Martin in Provincial Judges Court on March 14 imposed a 150 dollar fine on Glen Raymond Ducharme on his second drug charge illegal possession. Also in court were Eugene Joseph Fortin and Lorraine Marie Fortin, charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Fortins seek not guilty pleas and the case was remanded for one week.
