The Pas Health Centre proposal remains contested after a council denial. Hospital board chair Vaughn Wadelius and regional director John Karpan emphasize that rejection is a setback not a defeat while detailing history from 1972 White Paper through Bill 48 and the move toward a Type II system with local board governance.
