Woman Charged With Arson In Church And Car Fire
A 23 year old Flin Flon woman Ednarleen Sparrow is charged with arson and public mischief after a fire gutted Alliance Church on Patrick Avenue and a 1967 Ford car owned by Bill Booth of The Pas. Police say a window was smashed in the church office and newspapers were lit. The Booth car fire began about 15 minutes later with Kleenex on a seat. Damage to the church is over $10,000. the car damage is about $1,000. Both items were insured. Fire alarm for the church rang at 10:30 p m.

Town Council approved a retroactive pay raise for S Hrabachuk as welfare officer and license inspector.
