Court Dismisses Town Case Over Parking Bylaw
Provincial Magistrate Court dismissed the Towns case against Tom Stewart of Broad way Confectionery for parking a house trailer on his property without a permit. Café Owner Decries Break-In Settlement Unfair
Tom Mak owner of the Occidental Cafe in The Pas reports an unsatisfactory settlement offered after a February 22 break in. He cites a damaged back door costing 15 dollars a missing radio about 10 dollars in change and cigarettes. Three youths were seen entering then fled the rear entrance. Police were alerted but arrived late and later detained the suspects.

First joint rally unites Cubs Scouts Brownies in The Pas
Last week at Margaret Barbour Collegiate Auditorium a large crowd witnessed The Pas areas first combined rally for Cubs Scouts Brownies and Guides honoring Lord Baden Powell of Gilwell. About 150 youths performed while 125 parents and spectators offered support after each section renewed their Baden Powell promise.

Former Resident Receives Education Scholarships
