Detoxification Centre One Answer For Edwards Ave
A meeting chaired by Joe Ross with Frank Syms reviewed the Edwards Avenue problem in The Pas. A steering committee urged establishing a combined Detoxification and Rehabilitation Center under the Alcoholism Foundation of Manitoba with medical staff and broad community support. The Pas council backed the idea but insisted on tackling root causes and maintaining proximity to medical facilities.
