Rita Fouillard, principal of The Pas Elementary School, was elected president after two years as vice president. Gladys Carley became vice president and Frank Parker treasurer. Legion Bursary Awarded To Arlene Shmon For Nursing Training
Mickey Shannon presented Arlene Shmon with a 600 dollar Legion Bursary on behalf of Branch No 19 The Pas last Thursday. The award included a 400 dollar cheque and 100 dollar installments in June 1966 and June 1967 to support her studies at Winnipeg General Hospital. The committee thanked nursing and hospital officials for guidance in selecting the winner.

The Pas Anglican celebration marked 125 years of service with a May 29 luncheon at Nor-Lite Hall attended by about fifty guests. Attendees included church and civic leaders from Manitoba and Dauphin, plus a memorial service at Henry Budd grave site.
