School board plans multi purpose room and auditorium gym
The Pas School Board outlines a plan for a new high school with a combined auditorium gym and a separate multi purpose room in a costed by law. Government grants Indian Affairs support reduce net costs while class counts range from two to ten classrooms. Architects are Etienne Gaury of St Boniface.

Three Danish explorers survive Arctic voyage from 1619 20
In July 1620 near Monk's Harbour three Danish sailors led by Jens Munk escaped a doomed voyage toward the Northwest Passage. Only they and one small sloop Lamprennan remained after two ships sailed with sixty five crew. They battled ice storms and Arctic seas, pumping water as they pressed toward Norway reaching a deserted harbour near Shetland and Norway.
