Community Support Of School Patrols In The Pas

The Lido Theatre manager presents the first six of 170 complimentary show passes donated for school patrol members in The Pas. Forty patrol students received an airplane tour of Lamb Air facilities at Grace Lake, courtesy of Lamb Air. The Kinsmen Club equips patrols, with Kelsey School Division thanking the Lido, LambAir, and Kinsmen for support.

American businessmen tour northern Manitoba

Finance Minister Saul Cherniack notes a June 23 to 26 tour of northern Manitoba by U S based financial firms aims to expand access to Manitoba bonds in the U S money market. The delegation, hosted with Manitoba industry and finance support, included Prudential Met Life Aetna and other major insurers with First Boston Salomon and Merrill Lynch among U S underwriters.
