Sidewalk Snow Clearing Machine Arrives in The Pas
The new sidewalk snow clearing machine arrived in The Pas last Thursday and was tested Friday. Priced at 7000 dollars, it can travel up to 15 mph when snow is loose. Town engineer Steve Samu said current sidewalk snow is packed and will require more time to clean down to concrete. The Pas branch of the Canadian Association for the Mentally Retarded Manitoba Division has been reactivated by a small group. At a December 1 meeting an executive was elected to lead activities.
