The Pas private hospital expansion seeks a $520000 local share of a $2.6 million plan. Public by law would levy 3.75 mills annually for 20 years to raise about $50000 yearly plus interest. The LGD of Consol and Indian Affairs are pressed for funds with a February legislature deadline and a vote anticipated in late May or early June.
The schedule lists three race categories for machines up to 410 c.c., a 3:30 p.m obstacle course, a 1:00 p.m February 14 cross country in three prize bands, a Powder Puff Derby for ladies, Junior Class A and B races with specific laps and prizes, a novelty race with mixed teams, a 50 mile marathon cross country, and trophies for top drivers, best overall, and best sportsman.
